In Turkije gaat de pers te keer over wat allemaal niet aan Frankrijk deugt, en over Franse het neokolonialisme ten aanzien van Algerijnse.

Wat het ronduit komiek maakt, is dat Turkije Frankrijk zichzelf als voorbeeld voorhoudt:

Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu criticized French President Emmanuel Macron’s recent remarks on Turkey and Algeria, as he slammed the French leader for adopting populist rhetoric ahead of elections.
