Hoe kom je als asielmigrant Duitsland nog binnen? Heel ouderwets: door te vliegen! Deze ‘nieuwste truc’ dreigt in Duitsland een schandaal te worden.

Deze ‘nieuwe truc’ is natuurlijk zo oud als het vrij luchtverkeer tussen landen, en op die wijze zijn eerder al talloze gelukszoekers ook ons land binnen gestroomd. Maar de nieuwste truc van asielmigranten is een vliegtuig binnen de Schengenzone richting Duitsland te nemen. Zoals u wellicht nog weet: binnen de zone wordt er verder niet gecontroleerd. Buiten is buiten en binnen is de kunst. De enige formele hindernis is dat je asiel moet aanvragen in het land waar je voor het eerst de EU binnenkomt. Maar de mensen die al besloten hadden toch naar Duitsland te gaan blijken dan plotseling deaf, dumb and blind en analfabeet bovendien. Dat ze desalniettemin toch in Duitsland komen zal dus wel toeval zijn. Maar de AfD gelooft niet in toeval:

The AFD have accused the German government of covering up an “outrageous scandal” in which would-be asylum seekers are freely allowed to board planes within Europe in order to go and claim asylum in Germany.
Migrants entering Germany via plane from another European country would violate the EU’s Dublin Agreement, which states that asylum seekers must claim asylum in the first safe country they arrive in.

En inderdaad pleiten de cijfers tegen een dergelijke verhaal:

According to figuresobtained by the party from the German Interior Ministry,  almost a third of all asylum seekers in Germany now arrive via plane.

Overigens zijn lang niet alle nieuwe asielmigranten al in de EU geweest. De hemelpoorten zijn gewoon weer opengezet:

Although there are no direct flights from countries such as Afghanistan, Syria or Eritrea into Germany, conservative media outlets believe the majority of them board planes in Greece, Italy and Turkey completely unopposed and unregistered, meaning they are free to continue into Germany to claim asylum. German media report that there are no civilian flights from the likes of Syria or Afghanistan.

Hoe zielig deze asielmigranten echt zijn? Dat is uiterst twijfelachtig:

“The authorities there do not seem to have prevented them from continuing to Germany. It is also interesting that they had enough money and the necessary papers to buy a plane ticket,” writes German newspaper, Junge Freiheit.
Leif-Erik Holm, the AFD politician who obtained the figures, told the paper: “The Federal Government must clear up completely, whether the data of the asylum applicants apply and from where exactly they enter Germany and she has to stop this if necessary.
“If every third asylum seeker arrives by plane to Germany, that would be an outrageous scandal. I wonder how that’s possible with the rules in force. ”

Om dat allerlaatste met een wedervraag te beantwoorden: Zou het echt?

Questions should certainly be raised in the German Bundestag as to how migrants were able to board a Germany-bound plane without a visa or necessary paperwork. Flying from one safe European country to another makes you an economic migrant, not an asylum seeker.

Juridisch heeft de AfD zoals vaker volkomen gelijk. In de praktijk is het volledig opengooien van de grenzen echter niet langer af te doen als een ongelukkig toeval tijdens vervelende omstandigheden. En dan nog: net als in Nederland worden in Duitsland bedrijfsongevallen uit en te na onderzocht. En alleen de asielmigratiefoutjes blijken altijd maar weer onverklaarbaar?
