Het heeft een weekje geduurd na de publicatie van het finale Mueller-rapport over Russiagate, maar Trump gaat nu in de tegenaanval.

Vandaag begon een publicitair offensief tegen het voortdurende Democratische gewriemel in de media over hun interpretatie van het rapport. Gisteravond ging de gefaalde Democratisch kandidate in 2016 – Hilary Clinton (HRC) zo ver met een plan de campagne te komen voor de impeachment van Trump, met als uitsmijter:

“Anyone Else Would Have Been Indicted”[1]

HRC refereerde onder andere aan haar lidmaatschap van het onderzoeksteam dat tijdens Watergate het gedrag van Nixon onderzocht – dat ze er door de Democratische voorzitter van dat onderzoek werd uitgegooid vanwege oneerlijke methoden liet ze wijselijk buiten beschouwing.

“I was one of the young lawyers who actually drafted the memo about what is a high crime and misdemeanor, and it was truly meant by our founders to describe actions that undermine the integrity of our government that placed the personal or political interest in a president over the interest of the nation,” she said.

Het antwoord kwam vanmorgen. Het hoofd van Trumps juridische team Giuliani haalde eerst stevig uit:

Following Tuesday remarks by Clinton that Donald Trump would have been indicted if he weren’t president, Giuliani hit back in a Wednesday tweet – writing: “I encourage Hillary to get very involved in the 2020 election. She blew the last one for the Dems,” adding “She is working on a book called “How To Obstruct And Go Free.” And the sequel will be “How My Husband Escaped” a perjury conviction.From America’s number one crime family.“

En waarschuwde vervolgens dat Clinton de volgende is die onderzocht zal worden:

“How this ever got started in the first place is the next investigation,“ Giuliani said, adding that Hillary Clinton “better get a lawyer.” 

Giuliani gaf niet alleen Clinton een schot voor de boeg:

“I ask you to keep your eye on Ukraine,” he added, referring to collusion with Ukraine. Giuliani also mentioned Joe Biden’s son – who made millions of dollars in Ukraine as his father got a top prosecutor investigating him fired.

Dat er achter de schermen al gard gewerkt wordt aan een onderzoek naar hoe de hele Russiagate-scam ooit kon ontstaan ben je nog wel eens geneigd te vergeten, met de heisa die de Amerikaanse MSM maken nu hun gedroomde impeachmet-scenario in duigen gevallen is. The first phase of the illegal investigation of the Trump associates involved initiating wiretaps without any probable cause. This eventually involved six government intelligence and law enforcement agencies that formed a de facto task force headed by the CIA’s Director John Brennan. Also reportedly involved were the FBI’s James Comey, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, Department of Homeland Security Director Jeh Johnson, and Admiral Michael Rogers who headed the National Security Agency.
