Giorgio Monti of the European University Institute discusses the European Stability Mechanism and how it might best be reformed.
Giorgio Monti is a Professor of Competition Law and LAW/RSCAS Joint Chair at the European University Institute. His current research is in the fields of economic law, specifically competition law and utilities regulation. He uses an eclectic range of methods in his work and he welcomes candidates wishing to pursue research in any field of economic law, competition law, and regulation.
Before joining the EUI in September 2010, Giorgio Monti taught law at the University of Leicester (1993-2001) and at the London School of Economics (2001-2010), he is an Italian national but he received his legal training in the UK.
